you already know I'm a photographer.

what you may not know is when I'm not documenting weddings and couples I spend my time climbing the incredible mountains all over this beautiful earth. when I'm not climbing mountains I am usually running. and when I'm not running I'm usually stuffing my face with some scrumptious food.

drop me a line using the contact form and lets get together to talk details about your wedding day and maybe even grab a bite to eat.

HAYSTACK ROCK | CANNON BEACH

IMG_5568IMG_5550

this is from a few weeks ago. my friend sonya and i took a road trip to cannon beach with her sea kayak attached to the top of the wagon. the day was eventful to say the least. the pacific ocean took its toll on our kayak and submerged us. we made it back alive to tell the story.

BARBER SHOP | TX

meet bernard. a simple man who lives and works on wyatt street; commonly known as the ghetto of waxahachie, tx. i was blessed to spend a few days with bernard, as friends. we met out of a curiosity i had to find someone on this street and learn more about what makes them who they are. bernard certainly shared his thoughts with us, simply because that is what he does. he cuts hair, entertains, listens, and knows how to talk with anyone. the audio clip in the video below is one short insight at what i learned when sitting in the shop. its meaning is unique for me and i hope it opens your mind in a way that can make you reflect on your life.

PACKWOOD | WA

i spent memorial day weekend hiking, mountain biking, sipping cider, and listening to frank sinatra on vinyl. all at the meyer cabin. it was a great way to kick back and relax. as i have lived my life to where i am today, i continually recognize the importance of balance between work and play, friends and family; a 4 day weekend with amazing friends is always a good idea. thank you! oh and i can’t forget about swimming across a 36 degree river just because :D
