Jan, the mother of the family was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. when i met Jan, i couldn’t think how strong and healthy she appeared for her age. but even the relatively simple task of family photos eventually tired Jan. she regularly keeps up with her 17 grandchildren. it was a beautiful experience to be part of this day.
